Arrival & Drop Off Services In Malaga Airport

Daytime Collection Procedures from 09.00 AM to 07.00 PM ( tel. +34 - 952 24 50 80 )

Terminal 2: Arrival at Malaga Airport: Go to FIRST Car Group meeting point just outside the Arrival hall. (Bus stop in front of the taxi rank). Do not go down to the basement (Car Rental Offices) in the arrival hall. You already have your car booked and it’s waiting for you.
Our courtesy bus will pick you up here and take you and your luggage direct to our Office & Car Deposit only 2 minutes away. With our services you avoid the long waiting time in and out of the public parking in the airport area.

FIRST courtesy bus welcomes all our clients, including our good old clients from Dany Car, Pacific Car and Scandia Car. The mini bus with the red/white FIRST sign, you can’t miss it. If you have any problems on your arrival please call our staff on (+34) 952 24 50 80, then we shall personally assist you to your car.

Terminal 1: (Non-EU Flights and Passport Inspection): The First Car Group minibus is waiting for you directly opposite the exit door (in front of the taxi rank/ by the courtesy bus sign). When you have landed and got your luggage our courtesy bus will drive you to your car.
• Please note this is for pre-booked cars only and not a shuttle service.
• If your plane is delayed do not worry, we monitor all arrival times.
• If you have to claim lost luggage please telephone our office to inform us that you will make a claim, which takes time.

Night Time Collection Procedures from 7.00 PM to 9.00 AM (Only by agreement in advance)
Go to the "OMT" office (Oficina Multi Transporte) situated in the Arrival Hall.
Show your passport and ask for a First Car Group ENVELOPE IN YOUR NAME that will contain:
• Car park map indicating where your car is.
• Car Keys and Rental Contract.
• Car park ticket.

Please telephone the First Car Group Airport Office (+34) 952 24 50 80 the next morning (10.00 - 14.00 ) to confirm everything is correct.

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The First Car rental price is “All Inclusive” 

• Unlimited mileage
• Full insurance  (fully comprehensive (CDW, collision clause), insurance against fire and theft of the vehicle)
• Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance
• Damages to third parties (PAI identifier of problematic areas, insurance against personal accidents)
• Free medical assistance in the event of a traffic accident
• 24 hour roadside assistance in the event of an accident
• No cancellation commission 
• 16 % VAT

The client will be responsible for damage arising from the inappropriate use of the vehicle and for any damages that are not covered by the First Car Group Spain S.L. insurance, for example, damage to the interior of the vehicle (due to cigarettes that are not properly put out, etc.) and other accessories, punctures, impact of stones on the front windscreen, as well as damages caused by the inappropriate use or overloading of the elements.

The vehicle is provided with a full fuel tank, which is paid for prior to its collection. The value of the remaining fuel will be returned for each quarter of the contents of the tank.

VOLUNTARY EXCESS INSURANCE 

The fully comprehensive insurance, against fire and theft, includes a voluntary excess insurance, as detailed in the general rental price list. The voluntary excess insurance is paid as a deposit in cash or is charged to the client’s credit card when the vehicle is picked up. The deposit paid by the client will be refunded when the vehicle is returned, providing that the vehicle is in the same condition as it was collected. 

As an alternative, we offer a voluntary excess insurance. This insurance is detailed below:

The excess insurance may be complemented with a “Super Category” voluntary excess insurance. This insurance is detailed below: The extended voluntary excess insurance also includes an insurance which covers damage to tyres, wheel rims, clutch and lower housing / under-body in addition to covering losses suffered by the company as a result of an accident. All of this is NOT included in the normal voluntary excess insurance.  

INSURANCE FOR YOUNG DRIVERS 

Many companies do not rent cars to drivers under the age of 22, but with First Car Group Spain S.L., it is possible for certain vehicle groups (Groups A) provided that a special insurance for Young Drivers is taken out. However, it is required that the interested party has held a valid driving license for more than one year at the time of renting the vehicle. This insurance is a supplement to the deposit for the voluntary excess insurance as it is not possible to combine the insurance for Novice Drivers with a voluntary excess insurance.

 INSURANCE FOR DRIVERS OF 75 age++ (“SENIOR CATEGORY”)

 At First Car Group Spain S.L., there are no age limits, as we offer an additional “Senior Category” insurance for drivers of 75 and over that age.

OTHER RATES

As of 1st November 2006, the following rates will come into effect along with our new rental conditions.   

Fuel: All vehicles are provided with a full fuel tank out of courtesy to the client. Upon expiry of the contract, the value of remaining fuel will be refunded at the same price as it was charged. Petrol is deducted at 1.25 euros per litre and diesel at 1.23 euros per litre. 

Additional Driver: 20 euros for the rental period. 

Insurance for Novice Drivers (under the age of 22): 10 euros per day. Only applicable to vehicle groups: A. 

“Senior Category” Insurance (drivers of 75 and over that age): 5 euros per day as a supplemenT to another insurance policy. 

Request to extend the rental contract after the deadline or failure to notify an extension will be liable for a surcharge of 60 euros together with the sum calculated based on the additional rental days.  

In the event of loss of keys or vehicle documentation, a minimum charge of 30 euros will be made. 

Delay in the drop off time of the vehicle: If the established drop off time for the vehicle is exceeded by more than one hour, a sum equivalent to one day’s rental will be charged.   

Voluntary Excess/Voluntary Excess Insurance/“Category Super” Voluntary Excess Insurance: is paid along with the sum corresponding to fuel at the time of collecting the vehicle, either in cash or charged to a credit card, and is deducted upon return of the vehicle.
